I got up early in the morning and got ready to travel. I left home around 5.45am to Pulchowk. My brother dropped me there near Mr. Gautam's house (the tour leader of this pilgrimage program). I found some other friends there waiting for the Bus. After a while the Bus arrived. Every body were busy taking their seat and adjusting their luggage. After sometime the bus departed for another pickup station near Mahankalasthan.

I found some familiar faces in the Mahankalasthan stop. Most of the people were unfamiliar too.  Buddhist Students of PGD Program from Tribhuvan University were very few in number. Dr. Naresh Man came to see off the tour group. Around 7. 30 am, our bus started to reach the today's destination: Lumbini

A small introductory program of the pilgrims was held on the way.  We were expecting to arrive at Lumbini around 5.pm.

But the temperature was too hot compared to Kathmandu.  I found no substantial change in Lumbini and its surroundings since I visited here last year for some Newar Buddhist ceremony. I was very sorry to see the condition of Maya Devi temple. When will the temple of Mayadevi be built?

I took some rest beneath the tree. The atmosphere was so peaceful and beautiful that I wanted to meditate in that place. But our destination for that day was not the Lumbini but was fixed in Taulihawa. We moved to spend night there. But we found the place too small for us .We were shifted to another guest house. But the room was quite typical with a lot of mosquitoes which were unbearable. The noise of the ceiling fan caused all the night to be disturbed. I didn't know when I slept.
